CYBER SECURITY INCIDENT: UPDATE ON DIRECT DEBITS

 

Most council services are now returning to normal following the cyber security incident identified on Monday 24 November, and we are continuing to work through service requests raised during the affected period. Thank you for your continued patience whilst the remaining systems are brought safely back online and we respond to any outstanding queries.

Rent and service charge payments

Direct Debit collections for rent and service charges have now resumed, the same amount as your last payment will be collected. We are currently contacting individual households via post to confirm any remaining arrears from November 2025, with information about how these can be repaid. Our income team will also be reaching out over the phone to offer support with repayments.
