Our Developments

Westminster Community Homes has a development programme which consists of a mixture of property acquisitions and some new build programmes.
We have also designed our own specification which provides a superior finish compared to most housing providers in our sector. This specification will continue to evolve and change as we strive for continual improvement.

MOT Yard St John's Terrace

 

A planning application was submitted in December for 25 x 1 bed units.  This application  is likely to be considered in March 2022.

If granted WCH will look to start works on site later in 2022.  The units will be for Intermediate Rent.  To apply for these and other WCH units, please register with Homeownership Westminster

Victoria Wharf Second Phase

 

Works on the second phase at Victoria Wharf are continuing well.   Completion is scheduled for August 2022.  Once completed there will be an additional 20 x 1 bed units for Intermediate Rent.  The second phase will be directly linked with the first phase to create a block of 42 units

581-587 Harrow Road

Final reports are now being produced to enable the submission of the planning application for this scheme in December 2021.  

2A Bravington Road W9

The interior of this building has been entirely stripped back to enable structural works to be carried out and to revise the layout in order to maximise the area of each flat.

When completed in March 2022 this will provide 3 x 1 bed units for shared ownership.

Victoria Wharf Phase 2

Good progress continues to be made on this scheme.   The entire structural frame is now in place and the roof is currently being weatherproofed.

The metal studwork to form the individual flats is underway with lower ground and ground floors finished and work progressing on the upper floors.  Patio doors are being installed at the rear of the building on the lower floors.   The entire building will be weathertight before Christmas.  The overall scheme is on schedule to complete in August 2022.

Ladbroke Grove / Victoria Wharf

Westminster Community Homes have carried out a development at 348-352 Ladbroke Grove to create 22 homes. 

The works were completed in January 2018.

Victoria Wharf Apartments at Ladbroke Grove is Westminster Community Homes most recent development. 

These apartments are let as Intermediate Rented units. This scheme has won two major housing awards in 2018. The Evening Standard Best Affordable Housing Scheme and Building Magazine Best Affordable Housing Scheme Under £6m. We are very proud of these achievements.

Victoria Wharf Extension

Planning permission was granted In October 2020 to provide 20 new apartments for Intermediate Rent.   The contractor has been appointed and we are aiming to start the works on site in January 2021 with a completion date in late Spring 2022.
